**Land Agent**

**Location: Perth**

Bell Ingram is looking for a highly enthusiastic and motivated Land Agent to join their Utilities team to help deliver framework projects across Scotland.

**The role**

The Land Agent will support the team by managing existing framework projects to deliver utility, infrastructure, and renewable projects.

Tasks will include;
- Liaising with landowners to secure land rights 
- CPO related work including compensation claims for rural and utility clients
- Renewable energy project valuations.
- Digital mapping
- Land referencing 
- Maintaining good records, being commercially aware and providing regular client updates.
- Supporting the delivery of a diverse and exciting portfolio of projects. Applicants should be comfortable managing multiple projects at different stages of development and excel at keeping projects moving forward efficiently on schedule and within budget.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Practical knowledge or experience of rural land management is essential
- MRICS/Registered Valuers preferred but not essential
- Competent in Microsoft Office packages.
- Be comfortable meeting people on-site and virtually - colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. 
- Well organised and self-motivated with good attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and to work quickly and efficiently
- Full clean driving licence with own car
- Ability to use digital mapping systems to prepare plans is desirable
- Practical experience in farming or forestry and a knowledge and understanding of wayleaves would be advantageous.

Situated on the banks of the River Tay in Perth, Durn has been Bell Ingram’s headquarters since 1962. The Perth office boasts the biggest head count of all Bell Ingram offices and has representatives, mainly Partner level, from all service areas.

In addition to Rural Land Management, Estate Agency, Architecture, Forestry and Utilities services our Accounts Department, who provide financial services for numerous clients and Bell Ingram itself, are based here.
