Penguin Recruitment are excited to be working alongside a highly regarded engineering consultancy in their search for a Graduate Engineering Geologist in Chester.

The successful applicant will join an expanding, specialist team and will work on a wide range of projects across the UK. This opportunity will help you enhance your knowledge of the geo sector, provide you with a broad range of skills and expertise andwill provide the perfect opportunity for career growth.

Applicants are required to have a strong academic background which includes a BSc, BEng or higher qualification in relevant field, such as geology, environmental science etc. Additionally, you should have a Full UK Drivers Licence and should be willing totravel.
- Performing site investigations
- Carrying out Phase I Desk Studies and Walkover Surveys
- Carrying out Phase II+ intrusive investigations, including risk assessment and interpretative report writing
- Inspecting project sites to monitor remediation progress
- Scheduling of samples for laboratory analysis
