**The opportunity**

We are looking for a Trainee Fieldwork Controller to join our Field team ideally based Wallingford, may consider London. As a member of the Field team, you will have strong involvement in multi-market project execution from the initial costing stage through to delivery and driving excellence in project execution. With various developmental opportunities available throughout the department, you will be an integral part of HRW family, contributing to our collective success.

**Key responsibilities**
- Arranging all fieldwork paperwork on projects (e.g. quota sheets, field packs, respondent detail lists, interview schedules, print-outs and packs for focus group moderators)
- Updating and maintaining supplier / freelancer databases
- Attend meetings with potential and existing suppliers / freelancers
- Issuing supplier / freelancer confidentiality agreements and keeping a record of agreements we have in place
- Developing and maintaining relationships with fieldwork agencies
- To assist project teams with all aspects of field project management
- Advising and recommending agencies to the project team and evaluating their performance on the agency supplier database
- Monitoring performance of fieldwork agencies and negotiating costs (if necessary)
- Scanning in fieldwork materials (e.g. worksheets and completed handouts from qualitative research), labelling and saving over to the project file
- Research potential new fieldwork suppliers and collect all necessary information regarding the potential new suppliers - add to database if necessary
