Natalie’s blooms has been running since September 2020 and has gained a large client base across Stoke On Trent and Newcastle.

**Job title**: Self-employed Gardener

**Pay**:Gardening maintenance £15ph.

I am looking for a gardener to start immediately, clients waiting.

I am looking for someone to cover the Cheddleton, Weston Coyney, Trentham, Barlaston, Lightwood, Meir and Fenton areas mainly with some Newcastle and North Staffordshire jobs possible too.

The role would be part time initially but could quickly become full time.

You need your own transport and your own tools. You may also from time to time have the opportunity to join me on a commercial job which may require traveling out of area (Expenses paid).

We offer weeding, planting, mulching, grass cutting, lawn care, hedge cutting, small tree cutting, pruning, pressure washing and garden tidies.

Not all properties have access to electric so cordless tools are preferred but not essential.

You’d need to register yourself as self-employed which is easily set up online and you’d need to let me know your UTR number. You’ll be responsible for your own accounts, in regards to recording your incomings and expenditure for tax returns however I record everything for you on a spreadsheet, which I hand to you at the end of the tax year. I use an accountant for my tax returns that I am happy to provide details for too.

I will provide you with your own clients. You may be asked to communicate with the clients to arrange times where needed but most communication goes through me.

You may also be asked to help cover myself and other staff in their absence when needed. We can help each other out when work gets cancelled due to bad weather. Sometimes more than 1 of us attends a job, if the job is big.

We work in all weathers however we are unable to mow or use electrical equipment when it heavily rains.

I can’t unfortunately guarantee work throughout the Winter season which runs from November to February but clients often continue to provide work and there is usually plenty of one off jobs needed.

Hours/days are flexible to suit you and the clients needs.

It’s expected that you are reliable, punctual, polite and professional with clients. Natalie’s blooms have gained a good reputation which is important to uphold. Please ensure you leave clients gardens in a clean and tidy manner after work is completed.

If successful you'd need to provide me with a photo and a little information about yourself for the website/social media this will help you build a client base. You may also have different skills that you can offer which will also help you gain clients and expand what Natalie’s blooms can offer.

You’ll need to have your own transport and have all your gardening equipment, (Preferably cordless) such as a strimmer, mower, hedge trimmer weeding and pruning tools to complete the job.

I will provide you with 1 logo t-shirt and hoodie once you've been with me 3 months but anymore will need to be purchased by yourself.

I recommend good quality clothing, water proofs, layers in cold weather and good footwear, maybe even steel cap boots.

You will be provided with a card reader to take payments which need setting up on your mobile device. This sends the money to my account.

You’ll need business insurance adding to your car insurance and I recommend having insurance for your tools.

Also there is the option of getting a free license to provide clients with the option of having their waste removed. I can talk you through this if needed.

I have public liability insurance which covers staff.
