**Senior Ecommerce Warehouse Manager - Manchester (Salford)**

**About Our Client: - Our client is a charitable organisation and are looking for a Senior Ecommerce Warehouse Manager based in Manchester**

Our client has a network of shops across the UK. Their shops generate a substantial level of income and goodwill to enable them to deliver for the charities aims. Their focus is around empowering shop management teams to maximise their potential within shops.

The Senior Ecommerce Warehouse Manager will lead new facilities in the Salford area of Manchester and will be responsible for managing the day-to day operations of our clients brand new Ecommerce Hub. This includes people management, including leading anddeveloping a new team. Inventory and asset management and continuous improvement of all processes with focus on driving efficiencies. The role will also lead on ensuring best in class health and safety at the site.

**What qualities will you need to be successful?**
- Proven experience leading a team of people in an Ecommerce environment, Warehouse, logistics, retail or distribution.
- Overall accountability for process design and continuous improvement to optimise workflow and revenue.
- Ecommerce listing,
- Processes for inbound stock and outbound stock, lead of processes for picking and packing customer orders and fulfilment processes.
- Lead on KPI’s for all colleagues and drive the delivery of these through the Warehouse Lead and Online Sales Manager roles.
- Overall accountability for the security of colleagues, stock and equipment at the site leading a team of circa 50 + colleagues.
- Lead and motivate ecommerce hub colleagues to achieve maximum productivity and engagement.
- Work in collaboration with the Online Sales Manager to ensure a seamless process between the Listing and Warehouse teams as well as a great colleague and customer experience.
- Cover the Online Sales Manager during periods of absence.
- Ensure all Hub colleagues are fully inducted and trained to action their respective roles. And subsequently receive supervision to drive colleague performance and engagement.
- Accountable for ensuring that the scheduling of colleagues is efficient and maximises capacity and costs.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a warehouse, including leading people, and managing process, assets, and inventory.
- Extensive experience in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry.
- Experience of setting and managing KPIs
- Extensive knowledge and experience of implementing health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and compliance.
- Demonstrable successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse.
- Demonstrable experience of scaling up a new operation
- Experience of successfully collaborating with internal support functions including Finance, HR, IT, Property, Procurement and H&S.
- Continuous improvement qualification (Lean, Kaizen or similar)
- Experience of using ecommerce platforms, e.g., Shopiago, eBay
- Ecommerce experience, Retail experience
