If you’re a Marine Technical Sales Advisor based in Plymouth and are looking to join the UK’s leading distributor of marine equipment, then Aquafax is for you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who understands the joys of boating and knows their Bilge Pumps from their Boat Controls, and if you thrive in an environment where you can really help a customer make the right decision, we can offer you a highly engaging role where you can demonstrate your expertise, establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products. Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable and following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interact with customers to offer technical guidance, point out products, and assist them in making purchasing decisions for both trade and retail customers.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide customers with the best, most accurate information possible.
- Greet and serve customers, being polite, patient, and helpful, from the moment they enter the store.
- Carry out external visits of a commercial and technical nature that work towards achieving sales targets and goals.
- Providing technical advice throughout the sales cycle including fault finding and warranty claims
- Assist the Branch Manager with obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements, whilst playing an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.

**Skills and Experience Needed**:

- Customer Service experience
- Good communication skills
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Transferable skills from within/outside the Marine/Leisure Industry
- Experience of a technical knowledge would be advantage although not essential
- Ability to work multi task to often tight customer deadlines
