This role will support the delivery of a volunteer mentoring and peer support service as a part of the Best Start service working directly with pregnant and postnatal families during their children’s first 1001 days of life.

We are seeking an organised and community driven Outreach Worker and Service Administrator for our Best Start Mentoring, peer support in pregnancy, volunteer management service. You will be working to support improved outcomes and reduce inequalities for local families delivering healthy weight, immunisations, smoking cessation and oral health messaging within the communities.

With excellent people, IT skills and a keen eye for detail, you will be a central part of the team, ensuring the smooth and safe running of new and dynamic Best Start mentoring services providing peer support, volunteer coordination, referral management and data capture for pregnant and postnatal families. You will support the intake and referral process with community partners in health and early years. You will also provide support for volunteers who deliver a 1-to-1 mentoring and signposting service for families identified within a high impact maternity area in the City of London Corporation and the London Borough of Hackney

Reporting to the Best Start Coordinator, and working community partners in health and early years you will support on intake, referral management, volunteer support, data capture, analytics and the collation of reports. This role will provide outreach, service promotion activities and coordination of service delivery for the local office and team. You will also operate an online hub and the peer mentoring phone line service to ensure pregnant women and families have access to ongoing support.

**Salary**: £24,092.00-£27,132.00 per year
