Medical Secretary Band 3

22.5 hours per week to be worked across 3 days.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to work as a Medical Secretary for the CAMHS service providing secretarial support to our clinician's and Pathways across our three localities.

The successful applicant will be reliable and able to provide a confidential, quality administration and telephone service.

A high standard of audio typing and word processing is essential, and you will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of System One would be a distinct advantage but full training will be given.

Attention to detail is essential whilst working within the teams and supporting and mentoring colleagues. Applicants should have the ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm, polite and professional manner and should possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Due to the nature of the service, you will be required to display tact and diplomacy when talking to service users and relatives and have an empathetic nature in difficult circumstances.
