**Hours**:AM Shift (07:00 start) Monday-Friday

**Base Location**: 91 Moy Road, Portadown

We are currently looking for HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our site in Portadown. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop-deliveries and collections throughout Northern Ireland. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required.

As a day shift driver, you will start at 07:00am, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge brand
- Ensure Health and Safety adherence at all times
- Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating Licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally)
- Follow all regulations relating to driver’s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
- Working collaboratively with the Transport Team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Undertake all necessary training, and cooperate with the security clearance process as required
- Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category ‘C’
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC
- Full UK Driving Licence (max of 6 penalty points)
- Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
- Ability to undertake manual work
- Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and Bank Holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good knowledge of driver’s hours, rules, and regulations

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Minimum of 1 year’s HGV driving experience
- Previous experience working in the Waste industry

**Must be able to provide documentation to confirm your eligibility to work in the UK**

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive hourly rate - £13.72ph (day shift)
- Generous retention scheme - opportunity to earn £3,250 per year (pro rata payment based on start date)
- Overtime rate of time and a half (£20.58ph) for hours worked over 45 hours Monday to Friday
