**Position: Production Operative**

**Reporting to: Production & Facilities Manager**

**Location: Newhaven**

**My client, an established and growing business is seeking production operatives for their manufacturing facility in Newhaven - an immediate start is required for this position**

Your tasks will encompass a range of activities, including measuring, mixing, surface preparation, masking, thorough inspections, and packaging. Furthermore, the role requires the completion of inspection reports as necessary.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Active participation in day-to-day manufacturing activities on the shop floor, ensuring the utmost quality standards in line with customer expectations.
- Adherence to Company operating procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
- Precise preparation of coating substrates and accurate mixing of potentially hazardous coating solutions.
- Safely load, unload, and handle parts and assemblies, including tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Implementation of packaging solutions as dictated by customer requirements.
- Comprehensive inspections carried out meticulously, with corresponding records maintained.
- Consistent adherence to cleanroom protocols and standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional concentration and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in following written and verbal technical instructions and maintaining precise records.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Profound comprehension of manufacturing processes and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable, not mandatory).

**Experience**:

- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and industry best practices.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Remuneration: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per annum
