Bio Products Laboratory’s (BPL) have a new and exciting opportunity for a Technical Trainer to join the Training department and support in the delivery of training to new and existing staff.

To be successful in this role, the role-holder will be a true team player, working proactively with colleagues to drive forward the co-ordination, design and delivery of the best possible technical training to the business with a sense that there is no personal success unless the team is considered successful. Knowledge and experience (at least 1 years) working within a Pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment is essential.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Onboarding of new starters on either an ad-hoc or cyclical basis through the delivery of technical training across varying roles and tours of the manufacturing and laboratory areas.
- Generate technical training material and deliver Manufacturing Essentials training to new starters to achieve required competencies before they can progress to continue further training within the production or laboratory environment.
- Generate training material including training e.g. Master Kits as required that are aligned to BPL’s values, strict regulatory and quality standards.
- Deliver classroom based and on the job practical training on Manufacturing Essentials.
- Regular reporting of training progress and completion metrics for all new starters.
- Liaise with all Training Coordinators / Facilitators and the Technical Training Lead as required to align with current standards and updates.
- Ensure training records are maintained and managed in line with BPL’s quality standards and requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the technical training programme delivered at the Training centre and on the job.
- Liaise with HR colleagues as instructed to positively impact new starter technical training performance as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with training coordinators / facilitators, team leaders and management to ensure staff training compliance is maintained at the expected level.
- Establish trusted relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to benefit technical training programmes.
- Contribute to ongoing analysis to support the delivery of technical training and development outcomes.
- Deliver all agreed initiatives on time, safely and to quality standards.
- Provide Admin support for the training team.

Team contribution
- Promote a learning culture at BPL which supports the delivery of the Team’s and site objectives.
- Work with the rest of the team to ensure a rounded holistic approach with respect to continuous improvement of technical training offerings.
- Support other members of the training team as required during peak activity or absence.
- Drive (as well as deliver) co-ordinated learning initiatives, supporting line managers and HR to co-deliver learning as required.
- Be a team player, investing time to generate a common focus and genuine team spirit.
- Develop in co-ordination with the broader team objective.

- Strong team-working and customer-focus ethic
- Excellent client management skills - for both internal & external clients
- Proven ability to ensure all work is to required data integrity standards
