We are looking for a Prosthetist or Graduate Prosthetist to join our team

As a HCPC registered Prosthetist and preferably member of BAPO, you will be working in a Consultant led multi-disciplinary team, alongside other specialist clinicians. This team provides prosthetic rehabilitation for patients with congenital and acquired limb deficiency (both upper and lower) across Kent and Medway

You will offer clinical expertise in the management of patients with complex prosthetic conditions whilst under the care of KMPT and provide clinical intervention for patients, developing and using extended scope of practice as required. You will be supported by a team of highly experienced clinicians

You will actively support the Prosthetic Team Lead and Service initiatives to provide effective and quality services to patients

Liaise with the Senior Technical Team Lead (Prosthetics) and technicians to ensure workflows are managed in a timely manner

Support the culture of positive performance and performance management in line with Trust policy, including participation with annual appraisal and supervision, training compliance and absence management

Support and mentor student placements, liaising with relevant education facilities and/or the Trust work placement team, as required

We actively engage with continual professional development and opportunities to support our team have the skills they need to meet current and new innovation
