Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for an experienced temporary Admin assistant for a job based in the St Pancras N1 area.

The main aim of the role is to undertake a range of administrative duties that support the Coroner in line with coronial service requirements to ensure a high quality, customer-focused and value-for-money administrative service.

**About The Job**
Working closely with the Coroner to provide and maintain accurate and administrative systems including electronic and manual information management systems;

To provide telephone cover including frequent contact with bereaved customers, resolving enquiries where possible, directing callers and responding appropriately in line with corporate and coronial customer care standards.

To handle incoming and outgoing mail, including any associated logging and scanning, and distribute items to services. Arrange regular courier services to ensure that confidential and time sensitive materials are delivered efficiently.

To assist with booking and setting up of internal and external meeting rooms and venues for complex meetings, directing guests and arranging IT and refreshments as required.

To provide other administrative support tasks to support the service as directed by the service managers.

8am - 4pm

£14.42 p/h

Mon to Fri

**About You**
This is a specialised position requiring the highest levels of sensitivity, and confidentiality, together with excellent organisational and people skills. The job requires a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise and manage a demanding and changing workload in a high pressured environment.
- Calm, tactful and sympathetic manner when dealing with very distressed people
- High level of literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to take an organised approach to own workload whilst dealing with conflicting priorities and to ensure a customer focused approach.
- Excellent personal and office organisational skills, including prioritisation, delegation and target setting
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new ICT systems quickly.
- Experience of working in a business administration environment.
- Experience of working in Coronial Services is desirable
- Experience in working in a high pressured and dynamic environment
