Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team at our Central Distribution Warehouse in Kettering.

**Salary - **£25,000 plus bonus

**Type - **Permanent, Full Time

**Working Pattern - **Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The main objectives of the role are to use material handling equipment (MHE) and bespoke machinery to pick, cut and load flooring in a safe and timely manner and to always ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times.

**Other key areas of responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring that our health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Picking, cutting, loading and putting away stock
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
- Monitoring goods entering and leaving the warehouse
- Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled and stored safely, neatly and correctly
- Processing waste streams into recyclable and non-recyclable bales
- Carrying out housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse
- Ensuring stock and warehouse security

**Key Requirements**:

- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Great organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate
- Ability to work efficiently and safely under tight deadlines
