Interim Financial Accounting Manager

My client is a large, complex, not for profit organisation based in Hampshire. Alongside an ongoing transformation project, they are recruiting for an Interim Financial Accounting Lead on an 18-24 month fixed term contract, with key responsibilities including:

- Leading on the preparation of year end accounts
- Being the key point of contact for external auditors
- Reviewing and analysing financial data and reconciling against backup datafiles
- Planning for audit and year end processes, and compiling year-to-date reports
- Supporting a Chart Of Accounts redesign project, providing the financial expertise needed to inform the successful delivery of the project.

The role would particularly suit those from a practice background, as the complex requirements lend themselves to those with strong organisational, client management, and accounts preparation skills.

To be considered, these criteria must be met:

- Hold a full accountancy qualification
- Have exposure to significant complexity either in size of organisation or number of income/expenditure streams in past roles.
