Job Title: Prescription Coordinator - 37.5 hours pw

Location: Trowbridge (Hybrid Working between office and home)

Working between home and our bright modern offices in Trowbridge, you will be providing the first line of contact to many of our patients and carers within our Prescription Service team. The team's ambition is to provide efficient end-to-end prescription management by being the best in industry, offering a fast, secure and adaptive service to the ever changing NHS.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Reviewing and managing any surgeries who have missing prescriptions
- Negotiating when required to ensure no stock is written off, with high focus on the effective retrieval of both Electronic and Paper prescriptions
- Continuously improving relationships with surgeries to streamline the process, sharing best practice and ensuring you adhere to any SOP's
- Building relationships across Patient Services and the teams based in the field, working together to provide the best possible experience for GP's and patients.
- Maintaining the quality of service to both our external customers and internal colleagues.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of reportable data

About you
- Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Have a passion for continuously improving, self-development and be keen to learn new ways of working
- Have accurate and efficient data processing capability with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Will possess the confidence to challenge when needed across functions at all levels
- Will be able to attend the Trowbridge office at least once a week to work, and for additional key meetings as required
- Possess a good standard of verbal and written English
- Be IT literate and completely at ease with using technology and learning new systems
- Be flexible and willing to adapt where necessary, to help the team and for your own personal development
