Our AI-led digital health interventions are changing the lives of millions of people. We're starting by putting as many of the 375m cases of type 2 diabetes into remission as we can, with our Low Carb Program.

Our evidence-based digital health interventions, like the Low Carb Program, have been featured in the New Scientist, The Times, Daily Mail, Sky News and BBC with thousands of people placing their type 2 diabetes into remission. The Low Carb Program is grounded in behaviour change psychology and our peer-reviewed health outcomes have shown impressive results. 1 in 4 members is able to put their type 2 diabetes into remission whilst 60% are also able to reduce or eliminate insulin and 40% can eliminate one or more medications, saving £835 per patient per year in medication deprescription.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our projects and leading a team of developers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dive into the product development process, actively contributing to coding, architecture, and design discussions
- Hands-on involvement in coding, debugging, and problem-solving to contribute to the development of robust and scalable software solutions
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in coding, software engineering, and product development
- Establish and champion robust security practices across the entire development lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for technology-driven enhancements and efficiencies across DDM Health
- Implement and oversee robust processes for quality assurance and ongoing improvement
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and methodologies
- Set technical standards and ensure adherence to best practices in software development
- Work closely with other departments, such as Product Management and Marketing, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of successful leadership in a CTO role, ideally within a start-up/scale-up environment
- Extensive hands-on experience in.NET Core development, showcasing a deep understanding of the language's nuances and capabilities
- A deep understanding of modern software development principles and practices with a hands-on approach to software development
- Proven ability to align technology initiatives with overall business strategy, ensuring that technical decisions contribute to the achievement of DDM’s goals
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop an engineering division
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excels at identifying and solving complex technical challenges, demonstrating a hands-on and solution-driven mindset
- Proactive in addressing issues and implementing improvements to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
