Technical Surveyor

Reed Facilities are working with a reputable Housing Association who are in the process of recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable temporary technical surveyor to support them in the management and delivery of repairs across their properties.

The successful applicant will assist the Contract Manager in the management and delivery of the repairs and maintenance throughout
housing and associated land/buildings.

**Key Accountabilities**
Deliver service within budget parameters achieving value for money
Provide first line support to the staff, assisting with technical queries
Meet or exceed service performance targets
Contribute to a regular programme of compliance testing
Ensure resident satisfaction levels meet or exceed
Undertake technical audits of work undertaken by contractors and consultants
Commission and manage third party specialists
Ensure relevant contracts deliver value for money and are compliant.
Responsible for procuring and project managing works to void properties
To manage and report risk ensuring compliance with agreed outcomes

**Education**
Technical member of the RICS (TechRICS) or relevant construction qualification.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**

Knowledge of housing, housing law and the regulatory framework.
Knowledge of repairs and maintenance
Knowledge of the building industry.
