**Description**:
Due to company growth, my client, an leading international manufacturing business based near Burton Upon Trent are looking to recruit an Expeditor to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.

Hours - Mon - Thurs 0830 - 1700 / Friday 0830 - 15.30

Role Description
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and shipping departments to prioritize and expedite orders based on client requirements.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on order status, including any delays or changes to delivery timelines.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing solutions to any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential bottlenecks or challenges in the manufacturing process and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of order status and client communications.

Skills & Attributes
- Demonstrable background in Expediting./ Progress Chasing in a similar role within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
- Strong Communication skills
- Both Written and Verbal
- Experience working in a Welding/ Fabrication/ Machining environment (. Advantageous)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
