**Wedding Coordinator - Salary £24,000 per annum**

**The Person**:
**The Wedding Coordinator role would ideally suit someone who comes from a pro-active sales background. You will be responsible for driving the weddings from the point of the enquiry, through to conversion, through to the final details on the day.**

**Principle job duties and responsibilities**:

- To discuss the function with a client, ascertaining and noting their exact needs.
- To show the client the various facilities available, advising and discussing the merits of the carious options.
- To advise and discuss the choice of menus.
- To conduct show rounds, regular open evenings, and wedding fayres both internally and externally
- To advise and discuss alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage requirements.
- To assist in the completion of administration of all future Weddings.
- To advise and discuss table plans with the Operations Team.
- To confirm the availability of the facilities required.
- To update all departments of any amendments for future Function Sheets immediately.
- To be constantly aware of new business opportunities and action the requirements and pass on details to the Sales Office Manager.
- To follow up on all wedding sales activities.
- To ensure that all necessary stationery requirements are in place.
- At all times to be aware of and practice good customer relations, assisting guests in any way which does not adversely affect other customers.
- To report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay.
- To take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes.
- To be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.
- To attend meetings and training courses as required.
- To ensure maximum security of all areas under your control.
- To comply with all statutory and legal requirements.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the management.

This role is full time 40 hours a week and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
