We are looking for an apprentice teaching assistant to join our primary school. We are looking for a capable individual and require said individuals to have achieved excellent GCSE grades as an indicator of capability.

**Your day-to-day tasks would include**:

- Working as part of a team and using your initiative and imagination to generate new ideas
- Providing high quality care and ensuring you follow all safeguarding procedures
- Using your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with parents, children and to welcome visitors to the school.

**You will need**:

- A good understanding of safeguarding and the National Curriculum
- An awareness of planning, observing and record keeping for children and the ability to link these to the individual child’s needs.
- An ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions closely so as to protect the wellbeing of children and aid their development
- Enthusiasm and passion for providing high quality learning opportunities.
- Must be First Aid trained.
- Experience working with 4-5 year olds preferably.
