The North and Central Manchester Early Intervention Teams are delighted to be able to offer 2 newly created Posts of Band 7 Senior Practitioner to their respective teams.

These are newly created roles developed as part of our Community Transformation Plan and the expanding needs of delivery of care within Early Intervention in Psychosis services.

You will work alongside a team of passionate and experienced colleagues and will be supported by the Clinical Team Manager.

This post is a full time position (37.5 hours per week). The Team is currently operational Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but flexible working can be discussed.

One post is based at Hexagon Tower in Crumpsall and the the second post is based at Chorlton House, Chorlton in central Manchester.

The post holder will be expected to travel across Greater Manchester as part of the role.

This post includes participation in the Bronze on call rota.

**The key duties of the role will include**:

- Overseeing the clinical management of a small complex caseload.
- Direct supervision of a a number of staff
- Lead and support on complex safeguarding's
- Support staff with complex social care act assessments and attendance at Finance Panel.
- Develop and maintain relationships and pathways with other services
- To promote awareness of the role of Early Intervention within local service area/team, GP practices and the wider community.
- Supporting with service management in conjunction with the Team Manager
- Working with the Team Manager to support with policy and service improvement and development
- Supporting service user, carer and stakeholder involvement
- Promote a culture of learning, education and professional development
- Implementing divisional action Plans and undertaking complaint investigations
- Supporting with the development and planning to meet Targets of the service
- Adherer to the principles of safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in line with Trust Policy and local reporting procedure and ensuring junior staff compliance with this.
