Cake Maker

We are currently seeking talented and creative Cake Makers / Cake Decorators to join our Confectionary Team at The Italian Bakery in Swanage. As a growing group of unique, award-winning Italian restaurants, gastro pubs, a café, and bakery, we are committed to delivering high-quality, fresh food and exceptional service to our guests.

**Responsibilities**:As a Cake Maker / Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cakes, biscuits, baked goods, and other confectionery items for the bakery, restaurants, and café. You will work closely with the Confectionary Team to develop new items and ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards. Other responsibilities include decorating cakes using various techniques, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, monitoring inventory levels, and ordering supplies.

- Passion for cake-making and cake decorating
- Excellent cake-making and decorating skills and knowledge of different techniques
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment

Part-time positions are available with shifts including weekends, day shifts, and evening shifts. A competitive salary is available for this role, dependent on experience.
