**Job Overview**:
Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively working with an incredibly fast growing business and ambitious business with a specialised portfolio of brands and products spanning across multiple sectors. Their mission is to disrupt markets via a competitivelypositioned range of brands and products, supported by cutting-edge technology, marketed to both B2B customers and B2C. The business is a UK based supplier of domestic appliances for household brands, which is a group of companies with an annual turnover ofcirca £40 million. The individual within this role will work alongside the Group Management Accountant and report directly into the Group Finance Director.
**Salary: Up to £40k**
**Location: Trafford**
**Main Duties**:
- Full responsibility of the monthly individual company and group consolidated management accounts, plus Board pack
- Full responsibility of the annual individual company and group consolidated statutory accounts
- Full control and actioning of all journal postings (prepayments, accruals, stock)
- Creation of business cost and margin reports, and variance investigation
- Weekly sales and margin reporting (by company)
- Weekly banking and full treasury function for the group, including supplier payments
- Reconciling of VAT nominals and quarterly submissions for the individual group companies
- Reconciliation of inter-company positions (trading ledger balances and nominal accounts)
- Work closely with Group Management Accountant and Accounts Assistants to ensure full completion of all Finance Team obligations
- Process improvements, with implementation of such improvements
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, funders, auditors etc
- Ad hoc tasks as requested by Group Management Accountant/Group Finance Director
**Person Specification**:
- Part Qualified/ Qualified accountant
- Relevant experience
- Sector experience on product supply to B2C and B2B channels
- Proven preparation of accurate and timely commercial management accounts
- Strong attention to detail and numerically astute
- Sage50 knowledge and experience
- Strong excel and analytical skills
- Data-driven and detail oriented
- Self-motivated and adaptable
- Team management experience
- Strong communication skills through all business levels
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
