**Paralegal**
Crime paralegal or newly qualified solicitor is required to work in a busy and long
- established criminal law practice.
**The ideal Paralegal will have experience of-**:

- a love of animals would also be an advantage as the practice specialises in animal law.

In addition to file preparation, you will be expected to
- attend police stations
- undertake prison visits and deal with telephone enquiries.
- Participation on the firm’s out-of-hours rota is also required which is separately remunerated.

**Salary range**:

- £20,000 - £35,000 depending on qualification and experience

**The ideal Paralegal will be**:

- Have excellent client-care skills
- Be organised, thorough and reliable
- Personable and a good team player
- Experienced at running their own caseload
- Police station accredited
- Have good IT skills and be used to working paperless
- Experienced in legal aid and familiar with the LAA Portal
- Familiar with the LEAP case management system
