Play Worker

**Playworker at Simply Out Of School Cowbridge.**

**Venue -** Y Bont Faen Primary school, Borough Close, Cowbridge, Cf71 7BN

**Hours of work**: Tuesday - Thursday (term time only)

14.45pm - 17.45pm

9 hours per week

*Help with the day-to-day running of the after school club

*Liaise with Management daily

*Liaise with the school daily and create a positive working relationship

*Handle and manage cash payments
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the After School Club, including setting up and clearing up.
- Preparing snack, drinks and tea in line with club’s Healthy Eating Policy.
- Supervising play opportunities with children.
- Contributing towards planning and preparation of craft activities and assisting children with these.

*Ensuring the children have a fun, enjoyable and exciting experience in club.

**Qualifications**:A level 2 or 3 is preferable but willingness to complete this is also considered**

Current First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates an advantage.

**Experience**:
Experience with children age 3 - 11 preferred and experience of play work a definite advantage.

**Rate of pay**:

- TBC_ per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Two references will be required at interview stage.
