**Role Overview**:As a Groundworker with CAT and Genny certificate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction teams by ensuring safe excavation and groundworks using Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) and Signal Generators (Genny).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate CAT and Genny equipment to detect underground utilities and cables.
- Conduct safe excavations and groundworks based on CAT and Genny readings.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Assist in other groundworking tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Groundworker with CAT and Genny equipment expertise.
- Valid certifications for CAT and Genny operation.
- Knowledge of excavation and groundworking techniques.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual labour.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Billingshurst: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
