**Job Description**:
One of London's most developed councils based in West London is seeking Neighbourhood Coordinator to start as soon as possible for an initial 6 month basis to support the Housing Management Services and make that change in the local community and residents
Role: Neighbourhood Coordinator
Rate: PAYE: £19.40 per hour/Umbrella PAYE: £24.05
Duration: 6 months initially - View to longer extension or 12-month FTC
Location: Hybrid -Min 3 days in the Office
Purpose of the role:

- To provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the neighbourhood service teams.- Oversee the complaints and members' enquiry process for the Neighbourhood Services & Sheltered Accommodation teams.- Provide budget support to the Neighbourhood Services Team, and Sheltered Accommodation teams including being the lead officer for requesting purchases and processing invoices.- Day-to-day responsibility for the management and maintenance of the area housing office building.Main Duties:

- Working with and supporting Housing Management Project officer.- Ensure all relevant correspondence is answered within prescribed timescales and that all complaints, councillor and MP enquiries are answered in accordance with procedures, guidelines and targets. Providing performance reports to managers.- Monitor, track and analyse complaints making recommendations on trends and improvements that will reduce the volume and pattern of complaints and improve the quality of service. Support learning from complaints by working with managers to identify lessons learnt and create action plans to deliver improvements.- Oversee and coordinate Subject Access requests, Freedom of Information requests and Ombudsman enquiry responses, ensuring all deadlines both internal and statutory are adhered to.- Coordinate the Sheltered Housing Forum, managing the forward plan, agenda approval and distribution processes. Minute each meeting and ensure actions are followed up and responses reported back to forum members. Preparation of relevant reports.- Support the management and senior management team in Housing Management by preparing agendas and collating and presenting performance and management information for the team and other senior colleagues as necessary.- Undertake administrative tasks that support the work of the operational teams, including coordinating training arrangements, producing monitoring and tracking spreadsheets and coordinating tasks that cut across all the service areas reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods.Knowledge & Experience and Skills:

- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to Council policies in relation to Equal Opportunity, Customer Care and service delivery, and the ability to implement these policies in the workplace.**Essential**: Educated to A level (or equivalent) OR Significant relevant work experience in Housing Management services**Desirable**: Housing management qualification- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment- Experience working in a matrix management environment- Experience working in Housing Management services as an effective housing management coordinator role in an administrative role.- Experience in dealing with challenging and complex neighbourhood services, giving advice, and guidance and making referrals for preventative and early intervention support services- Experience in supporting managers and team members to achieve performance and quality targets- Knowledge- Good understanding of Housing Legislation- Excellent understanding of what good customer service looks like and how to support others to deliver it.- Excellent understanding of the operation and structuresThis role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals that are ready to make that difference in the local community so those that can demonstrate empathy will be at a great advantage
