We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the dispensary team at Scarborough Hospital as a Workflow Supervisor.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You must be able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high-quality patient focused service.

This role would be suitable for a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Senior Pharmacy Assistant who wants to continue their development with team leading skills and workflow management.

Organizing and supervising dispensary activities including staff and workflow

Dispensing discharge, inpatient, specialist outpatient and outside unit prescription requests

Dispensing discharge and stock controlled drug prescription requests

Ordering and maintaining medication stocks as part of an allocated weekly ward top-up

Accuracy checking prescriptions within specified local parameters

Supporting with the review and implementation of SOPs and training document

Mentoring and supporting the training of Senior Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacy Assistants and other members of staff

Participation in the weekend and bank holiday rota.
