Trainee Coster

Clemence Rogers are working with a well-established company based in Middleton to recruit a permanent Trainee Coster to join the costing team. They are looking for someone efficient and with an excellent eye for detail. Experience of the commercial vehicle sector is a advantageous but not essential and you will be provided with support and training to make sure you have the right tools to do your job.

**Key responsibilities of a Trainee Coster**:

- Invoicing and controlling depot work-in-progress (anything that is not invoiced in hours)
- Check system to ensure campaigns are completed and costed correctly
- Work within credit control policy and procedures
- Carry out, retail, repair & maintenance and internal costing as per company standards
- Supply fully priced estimates of repairs required and ensure work is authorised where required
- Audit job cards, associated service documentation and customer defect procedures for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures
- Assist in achieving depot KPI’s in relation to efficiency, WIP targets, recovery rates and invoice lead time
- Achieve sold hours in line with current produced hours and set targets
- Resolve and assist in invoice queries and other administration duties when required
- Ensure all customer complaints are escalated to the Manager, ensuring quick resolution
- Maintain Dealer Operating Standards within department to a high standard
- Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies at all times
- Contacting customers and obtaining order numbers as required
