One of Europe's leading digital consumer service is looking for a Junior Accounting Specialist to join their team based in AMSETERDAM with hybrid working (1 day in office min). In this entry level position that reports to the Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the business operations of AlbumPrinter Productions BV in Ypenburg, Den Haag. In addition to the timely and accurate reporting of (non) financial information, youare a business partner that identifies opportunities to optimize costs and supports efficiency initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the efficient processing and payment of vendor invoices and (travel) expense claims in the Oracle ERP Cloud solution, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time, in accordance with group procedure.
- Perform month end close activities (e.g., creation of provisions for outstanding invoices) including checks and balances to ensure the recorded figures are accurate and are complete in accordance with IFRS.
- Provide support to the business on the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations monthly.
- Participate in external audits to ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance of the company

**Skills and qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Economics or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both **Dutch and English**.
- Hands-on mentality, proactive, self-reliant and an entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of autonomy and self-accountability.
