Logistics People are looking for Pickers and Packers to join our team.

Location: Dagenham

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00

Pay rate: £11.75 P/hr

Logistics People are currently recruiting PI Checkers to join our Team in Dagenham, Based at our Great Bear site.

As a PI Clerk you will be working closely with the Inventory Control Manager, responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, reviewing and resolving stock queries and issues, carrying out perpetual inventory location checks against an agreedtimetable.24/7 on-site support

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily PI checks of all pick faces and appropriate reporting.
- High bay VNA perpetual inventory checks and appropriate reporting.
- Full Investigations into any stock discrepancies found & missing pallets as a result of PI checks.
- Marshal lane spot checks for case pick, pallet presentation and base and labelling accuracy.
- Daily reporting to management on all pick errors found - calculated cost implications.
- Claim investigations from overs/shorts to end customers.
- Timely processing and control of damages and accurate damage reporting.
- Daily ‘walkaround’ of warehouse to identify spurious stock.
- Raising of disposals on a monthly basis on WMS and appropriate paperwork.
- Processing of returns including charging reporting.

**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Previous stock control experience.
- Confident in analysing and acting on data.
- Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player who can also work on own initiative.
- In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
- PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work at height.
