We have an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Buyer to join our team in Winsford.

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of purchasing requirements from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system-driven needs to sourcing new supplies of items with a broad spectrum of engineering complexity.

In this role, you will play a critical role in the delivery of production and MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) services for our customers, both in the UK and overseas. The role requires you to interact with and support a wide variety of business functions engaged in delivering Rolls Royce's commitments and growing future business.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will use your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work cohesively within the Operations team, building strong relationships with our suppliers. You will have the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional project teams.

We expect you to have good knowledge and experience of Production and Manufacturing processes, Planning systems, Quality and HSE requirements.

**What you will be doing**

You will be identifying potential new sources of supply or working within the existing supply chain to generate and complete enquiries based on specific project requirements.
- Negotiating with suppliers on commercial terms, quality, cost and delivery (QCD) requirements to secure best value which will meet or improve project performance targets.
- Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships to ensure QCD stability, through regular expediting and monitoring.
- Providing support to Sales as required on new bid work and with Engineering to fulfil product change requirements and control in the supply chain.
- Maintaining purchasing data accuracy/integrity in company’s ERP system.
- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager to improve and develop purchasing processes.

- Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
