CNC Engineer

We are proud to be recruiting for a CNC Engineer for our client who is a leading Engineering firm, supplying to a variety of aerospace, automotive and engineering firms. This role on a permanent basis, would be responsible for setting up a number of programmes,product development and process automation.

Based in Swadlincote, the role would be looking for an experienced engineer with strong experience within CNC programming, IGEM or Mastercam knowledge and be hands-on within the role.

The role would be looking at between £30,000-£35,000 per annum and has flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week too.

Role:

- NPI CNC programs for:

- 5 Axis WaterJet ( WJ Sweden)
- 3 Axis Router ( AXYZ)
- Automated Blank Cutter ( Gerber Cutter )
- Assisting in product design and development
- Personnel training, support to production and post product development
- Operations support and assistance in problem solving
- Monitor and document any changes to CNC programs, generate and maintain records of CNC programs
- Review and modify existing programs to improve efficiency
- Sound experience of using Mastercam (essential)
- Experience in programming and operating Waterjet, Router and Gerber cutters
- Strong engineering fundamentals understanding
- Excellent attention to detail & high standards of quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads with mínimal supervision
