Dental Receptionist

**Job Role**:

- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of reception
- Receiving patients into a welcoming environment and organising/rearranging appropriate appointments and clinician diaries
- Taking payments and updating patient records
- Attend to patient and clinical staff queries, seeking advice where appropriate
- Carry out daily administrative tasks
- Maintain a pleasant and tidy reception and waiting room area
- Answer telephone calls and deal with queries as appropriate
- Develop the ability to be able to understand patient’s needs and deal with queries efficiently or pass onto the appropriate member of staff

**Maternity cover with opportunity to extend to permanent contract.**

**Practice Hours: Mon - Thurs 8.30-5.30, Fri 8.30 - 14.30**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm, Part-time
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £9.50-£12.00 per hour
