We are seeking a **Strategic Sourcing Agent **to lead all aspects of Sourcing relating to New Product Introduction. This includes collaborating with R&D, Engineering, Operational and Supply Chain functions to provide Global Sourcing, Outsourcing, Insourcing, overall Sub-Contract Management in line with corporate strategy.

**What You'll Do**:

- Strategic Sourcing Lead for NPD
- Work as part of a coordinated project team to ensure early sourcing involvement, compliance and alignment to the Strategic Sourcing strategy
- Supplier search, evaluation and management
- Draft RFQ documentation, run RFQ events and/or E-bids
- Evaluation of supplier’s commercial and technical proposals
- Facilitate partner review meetings to determine best source of supply
- Responsible for ensuring indirect and direct costs meet value requirements
- Negotiation of development contracts and pricing agreements
- On-going strategy development for the automation category
- Co-ordinate with manufacturing site to ensure PPV/VAVE metrics are met
- Understand spend profile, cost drivers and supply market challenges
- Development of key NPD suppliers to support R&D needs
- Improve supplier service levels by reviewing performance metrics
- Ensure suppliers understand expected performance levels and competencies
- Conduct annual SERA for automation suppliers
- Willingness to use existing Pall tools such as I-Source, Auction Site, GVS Process, Total Cost Model, Business Continuity Reviews, DBS, NPD workbook.

**Who You Are**:

- Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP systems.
- Familiar with quality system requirements
- Contract negotiation
- Mathematical competency
- Commercial Law
- Engineering or operations background
