Mad About Horror are the UK and Europe's leading online retailer of Horror collectibles and Halloween decor.

This is an exciting time to join the company and ideally suited for someone looking to grow within a successful and fast growing eCommerce business. You will be someone who enjoys being in a fast paced environment, working collaboratively in a small team.

**The Role**:
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, your key responsibility will be improving and maintaining the website performance, including the following tasks
- Ensuring items are in the correct categories and daily website checks to reflect and bring to life the marketing plan.
- Collaborate with our marketing manager to help create and implement promotional campaigns and content updates
- Maintain product content on our e-commerce platform (Woocommerce) ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers
- Regular website updates to maximise user experience and flow through the website, maximising potential sales.
- Image optimisation and manipulation
- Monitor and analyse website performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Assisting with the implementation of the on-page SEO strategy, including AI tool use and copywriting.
- Creating content where necessary to support the SEO strategy.
- New product listings, ensuring SEO-friendly descriptions are marketed to the right target audience.

In addition you will
- Assist with social media content writing and scheduling, updating and maintaining all platforms
- Assist as required in other areas of the business, including customer service and warehouse / despatch.

Essential requirements
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using a CMS system, ideally Wordpress
- Demonstrable SEO experience
- Experience using adobe photoshop or similar
- Strong general IT skills and quick to learn new systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional written English skills for content creation

Desirable
- Video and photography skills
- An enthusiasm for the Horror genre

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
