Housekeeper/cleaner

An opportunity has arisen for an **experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner **to become part of our team at Hazeldene House. The role is based at a small, privately owned, homely 21 bed residential care home (in the Clay Cross area of Chesterfield) for elderly/dementia care and involves general cleaning duties to provide a safe and clean environment snd is is compliant with infection control protocols. This is a great role in a more relaxed environment than a larger chain of residential care homes.

The role on offer is PART TIME (3 or 4 shifts (5hr) per week plus additional cover when required) but flexible in hours and can be developed once competence has been demonstrated.

- Reliability and Flexibility is essential for the role, although the staff rota will be completed a month in advance.
- Shifts will includen alternate weekends.
- Experience of housekeeping/cleaning in a multi occupancy environment.
- Experience of good communication and awareness of working with vulnerable residents.
- A DBS check will be required in order to undertake the role.
- Basic training and induction will be provided.
- **A portable DBS would be an advantage**

**Salary**: £9.70-£10.42 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 Housekeeping/domestic services/cleaning (preferred)
