Trainee Early Intervention Therapist

Leapfrog Therapies are are modern and progressive company providing a variety of education and therapy services for children and young people. We have an exciting new opportunity for a trainee Therapist to join our team If you’re passionate about delivering values driven behaviour and education programs, this could be the role for you All programs have behaviour analysis at the core, as well as a strong PBS framework, and incorporate education research, parenting research and attachment theory.

main duties:

- deliver (2 hour) play based therapy session 1-3 per week, (flexible days and times to suit your needs)
- work 1-1 with a 1.5 year old girl with developmental delays
- improve communication, listening, play skills, behaviour, etc.
- run therapy alone, using initiative and, keeping resources organised
- work closely with parents and supervisor
- receive regular support and training from the Supervisor and Consultant

Essential:
You must have previous experience working with young children

You must be open to learning new approaches and procedures

You must be reliable and committed

You must have excellent communication skills

you must have right to work in the uk

you must have a clean dbs

Desirable

1. you may have availability to work with additional children in future

2.You may have previous experience with PBS/early intervention therapy

3.You may have use of a car, for ease of getting to clients
