Our client is looking for a hardworking **Assembler** to join the growing team at their site in Cheshire.

**About the Assembler role**

An assembler prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble components and products to detailed specifications.
- Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standard.
- Test components and products to ensure that they meet all requirements.
- Identify and resolve any technical problems arising in the assembly of components and products working with your line manager.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace and to ensure a clean readily workable area ready for production the following day.
- Follow the Works Order Process for the manufacture of goods.

**Skills and experience**:

- A basic secondary education.
- An ability to operate relevant machinery and to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Prepared to undergo training, as necessary.
- Electrical or mechanical qualification is an advantage.
- Understanding of WOP (training will be available).
