We're seeking a dynamic and experienced COSS Supervisor to join our Rail team in the Wessex region and play a pivotal role in driving excellence in rail operations. You’ll be overseeing the safety and coordination of high-quality rehabilitation and maintenance work to ensure successful completion of projects and to promote an identity of excellent client service and maximum profitability.

**What’s the Role**:
- Foster effective communication channels among team members, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project progress, including regular feedback updates to project stakeholders on site operations and adherence to program schedules.
- Lead by example in prioritizing health and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to safe systems of work and promptly addressing any issues or concerns to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance to team members, offering technical expertise and practical assistance as needed, while also conducting thorough site inductions and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and best practices.
- Oversee site operations and resource management, collaborating closely with supervisors and project engineers to plan and organize activities effectively, minimizing delays and ensuring timely completion of tasks within specified quality standards.
- Develop and empower team members through supervision, training, and encouragement, promoting a positive work culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence in performance
**What You’ll Need**:
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) certified and Controller of Site Safety (COSS) qualified.
- SSSTMS (Preferable)
- Previous experience in the rail, drainage or Civil Industry would be advantageous.
- Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor within rail environment
- Valid UK driving license
