Barista/waitress

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and speciality drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation of the coffee preparation area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner
- Assist in food preparation and serving when required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Culinary knowledge or interest in the restaurant and hospitality industry
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
