This role is Relief Cook supporting catering and hospitality, tailor-made for independent schools.
We are thrilled to announce that we've secured fantastic new contracts for Lexington Independents
These exciting opportunities open doors for us to collaborate with schools throughout the entire UK, particularly in London and the South East
Our menus are carefully designed to meet all the needs and expectations, both nutritional and social, of all stakeholders: bursars, heads, parents and, most importantly, pupils.
This role would require flexibility to work in sites across London and South East.
Your key responsibilities as the Relief Cook will consist of:
- Maintain standards while covering team members on leave, sickness, and any other additional cover.
- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
- Operate the till point as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
**Working Pattern**: Up to 40 hours

- A great team player

- Catering experience essential
- Valid driving license required for work-related travel
