**More about the role:
**Key accountability's include**:
- Responsibility for overseeing all quotes to completion and quote to close ration measurement percentage
- Responsibility for Gross Contribution percentage and Gross Margin percentage for pricing of assemblies
- Sponsor of roll outs, supporting global manufacturing locations within Watson Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS)
- Responsible for effective and efficient deployment of people and resources to meet delivery requirements, while achieving safety and quality standards
- Oversee day-to-day communication of priorities to achieve production throughput against stated capacity targets using "self
- directed teams" process
- Work with group companies to drive compliance to all regulatory requirements on product and the assembly areas
- Liaise with end-users and support the group's Sales Engineers as required in a variety of manners, including technical calls, training sessions, meetings, site visits
- Assist in producing and communicating change notifications to customers
- Contribute to Research and Development activities
- Lead the objective setting and identification of training priorities for the team with input from Supervisors and Team Leaders
- Ensure that regular 1-1's and mid/end year reviews are undertaken, with appropriate feedback and support provided to colleagues
- Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure
- Formulate and implement manufacturing policies and programs to maintain and improve the competitive position and profitability of the operation
- Monthly department reporting of KPI's and KBI's as required to the Senior leadership team
**This is what you will need to be successful in this role**
- Experience of managing a multiskilled team ideally within a manufacturing/Engineering environment
- Manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of ERP system systems
- Understanding of Production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Working knowledge of GMP and Safety Regulations
