**Base: Staffordshire region (FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND OWN VEHICLE ESSENTIAL)**
**The client**:
In partnership with an established, sector leading mental health charity, I am seeking a **FLOATING MENTAL HEALTH RECOVERY WORKER** to join their team. Your new organisation is extremely people focused and is committed to putting the people they support first and delivering high quality care and support.
**The Job**:
Employed on a full-time basis, you will join a service whose purpose is to prevent hospital re-admission for people with enduring mental health needs.
You will work closely with adults with a mental health diagnosis to promote recovery and the management of their mental well being across **STAFFORDSHIRE**.
Your new role will require you to work across a range of locations, including the central office, and across the community in the local area. You will also have flexibility to work in a hybrid manner.
**Key Responsibilities and duties will include**:
" Signposting to external agencies for additional support
" Providing interventions where required
" Promoting recovery, management of health and well being and community interaction
" Accessing additional support, such as anxiety management, self-esteem workshops and practical advice
" Person Centred support which promotes practical, social and health outcomes
" Facilitating activities within the service and the community.
" Empowering the people, you support to make positive choices about their future, access additional support and manage their own mental health needs
" Partnership working with external agencies including social worker, community mental health teams and more
" Administrative tasks
**Skills & Experience requirements**:
" Demonstrate personal/professional experience of mental health support and diagnosis OR have secured experience in another social care setting and have excellent transferable skills
" As a minimum, hold the level 2 and/or level 3 in health and social care or equivalent
" Hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
" Have flexibility to very occasional work an evening or weekend.
" Applications will be considered from graduates with a mental health related qualification, who have transferable skills and are seeking their first practical mental health focused role
