Foundry Operative/Trainee Moulder

South Lincs Foundry Ltd based in Spalding, Lincolnshire have been providing quality castings nationwide for over 40 years to both commercial and private customers in weights ranging from 1kg - 800kg.

Duties include:

- _To produce sand moulds and cores using boxed and boxless moulding techniques._
- _To select appropriate moulding boxes for the casting to be produced and report any defects in equipment._
- _To operate sand mixing machinery._
- _To operate overhead cranes and all lifting equipment in a safe and controlled manner._
- _To perform all tasks with regard to health and safety._

This position has become available through the continuation of our planned company expansion, and significant increase in workloads both within the pattern shop and foundry.

Company hours are:

- 07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday & 07.30 - 12.30 Friday

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
