Sinclair are currently recruiting for a Trainee Finance Assistant at their Chester office. The Trainee Finance Assistant will provide accurate and timely analysis on business data, providing detailed insight into performance to aid decision making and drive business growth.

**Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 at home**

**Location: Eden House, Lakeside, Chester Business Park, Cheshire, CH4 9QT**

**Key responsibilities**
- Undertake ad hoc business analysis as required
- To provide accurate & timely financial reports.
- Manage the inflow of data from the wider organisation in to the

department, ensuring information is received within set timeframes.
- Work across the organisation, providing support to those that need it and obtaining information when it is required
- Assist with the completion of budget and forecast models
- Act as a finance business partner to multiple teams, ensuring drivers for performance are clearly communicated and insight provided to managers.

**Your Skills & Experience - Do You Have What it Takes?**

Essential:
You should have a proven track record of success in a similar role within a professional or business/corporate services environment.
- You will be working towards a relevant financial qualification
- Some financial analysis experience and a willingness to learn
- Intermediate level of Excel skills e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables
- Problem solving skills

Desirable:

- Use of ERPs and other financial systems (ie CPM)
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering and/or FP&A
