My client, a global manufacturing giant of construction products, is looking to appoint a new production planner for tier team based in Aylesbury.
With full support from Production planning management, we can ensure long term progression and security while offering an exciting opportunity to an experienced Planner looking to take that next step into production planning, with succession to management.
**The Production Planner will work with the Production Planning Supervisor to**:
- Manage and control daily production schedules.
- Manage Order book via communication with the Sales Order Processing team.
- Produce the Production Plan in coordination with Demand Schedule.
- Advise Commercial teams on delivery schedules and Customer Requirements.
- Liaise with Procurement and Logistics to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.
- Advise Sales about increased lead times throughout busy seasons.
- Work with Production Managers and Cell Leaders to resolve potential bottlenecks in production.
- Manage Factory Capacity regarding Resource Planning.
- Maintain stock level accuracy across all locations to ensure actual stock matches system balances.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure backflushing completed in a timely manner.
- Any other reasonable related duties as required including travel to other sites.
- Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance.
- Planning experience in either a Manufacturing or supply chain environment
