Our Kitchens are the heart of our restaurants and our BOH Team Members are the heart and soul of YO Each day is different at YO and brings new challenges which our Team Members relish.

No one day is the same as the last, as prepping, cleaning, cooking, and working the pass are all in a days work for our BOH Team Members, who find the all round nature of their roles rewarding and enjoy learning how to work each & every section of the kitchen.

Throughout the day you might find yourself in the Kitchen cutting fish, running the hot section, completing takeaway orders or working in our back up areas putting away deliveries, washing pots and keeping everything shipshape

You can cook rice, roll sushi and are passionate about giving our guests the best YO experience possible Wherever your assigned to work in the restaurant on a particular shift you are able to interact with our guests and help out all the other parts of the shift as you can quickly assist in the hot section to get orders out timely, or roll some sushi for a big Deliveroo order

**Kitchen**
- You will complete both Food Safety Level 2 and YO Health & Safety Training to be fully aware of all safety protocol in the Kitchen to maintain a safe environment for our Team & Guests.
- You have a strong knowledge of all our product specs and are committed to ensuring each guest receives the best quality food possible.
- Within the Kitchen you can roll sushi, work the pass, work in the hot section, prep our raw products and maintain a clean & safe environment abiding to Food Safety protocol & following the Trail app.
- You work collaboratively with the other Team Members and flex in where required and directed by the Shift Manager.

**Team**
- As a BOH Team Member you are a real team player who enjoys the camaraderie which being part of the YO Team brings. You are collaborative and support the rest of your team in the running of a great YO
- You keep yourself well informed of what’s going on and what’s new to YO by regularly checking YO 360 (internal comms platform), attending Team Meetings and interacting with Team Briefs.
- As a BOH Team Member you are happy working each & every section of a YO kitchen, with a keen focus on guest satisfaction and delivering our fantastic menu to the highest standards.
- You are able to develop your career here at YO by accessing Attensi (training portal), taking advantage of the Apprenticeships offered by YO and using our ‘Grow with YO’ resources to take your career to the next level.

**Guest**
- No matter what section you are assigned to on any given day, guest satisfaction is always at the forefront of your mind
- Working as a team, our YO team aim to deliver an exceptional guest experience across each & every shift. This is achieved through great authentic service and producing our mouth-watering dishes to spec.
- Any guest interactions are quickly followed up throughout the day. If we ever deviate from delivering our high standards, we make it right to quickly resolve and ensure all guests leave happy and advocates of our brand

**Profitability**
- You help to drive sales and drive repeat business by flawless execution of delivering a great guest experience which makes our guests want to come back time & time again. There is no better marketing than ‘word of mouth’ and nothing will drive more business than returning guests who then share their great experience with friends & family
- You share innovations with your Management team when you identify potential areas to improve profit and reduce any areas of wastage.

**Safety**
- As a BOH Team member you are committed to the safety of our Team & Guests within the restaurant.
- The YO Trail (Due Diligence app) is the ‘holy grail’ within our restaurants for maintaining a safe environment and all aspects of this important document are followed on a daily basis.
- All cleaning tasks are completed and signed off in a timely manner as described in the Trail App.
- Everyone at YO is further responsible for the good maintenance of our restaurant and the equipment found within. If you spot any problems, you quickly report these to a manager for action.

**You**:

- Adaptable, Flexible and committed to learning all the sections of a YO kitchen
- We offer full training but some kitchen experience would be beneficial.
- Hands on, dynamic and a great team player
- Committed to guest satisfaction and always looking for opportunities to make that guest experience that extra bit special
- Reliable and good time keeping is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
