Hourly Paid Lecturer

The Department of Arts and Humanities is seeking to recruit an Hourly Paid Lecturer to support and assess students across levels 4, 5 and 6 from the 31st March to the 15 June 2023. During this period, you would be considered part of team delivering the Global Challenges programme which is part of the Division of Transdisciplinary Studies in Global Change:
Hourly paid lecturer in Global Challenges - Social Cohesion Pathway.

**Social Cohesion**:The social cohesion pathway explores the impacts of globalisation on human connectedness and well-being; enablers and disruptors of social cohesion; identity and community formation, and how the media both shapes and reflects social group identities and cohesion. These topics can be approach from a range of disciplinary perspectives. Your role would be to support students towards the achievement of their final year assessments and to mark the work when it is submitted. There is no formally teaching expected at this point in the year. Ideally you will have some experience of teaching qualitative research methods so you can support students in this areas, as well as one or more of the following areas ANOVA, GIS/QGIS, R-programming, Excel and basic statistical methods.

Salary rate - £39.58 per hour.
